Fire meets MY desire

www.firemeetsdesire.com

Burger King has this web ad up. It's hilarious and you must continue clicking long past when you think you should stop.

I don't quite know what's being advertised though.....fail.

NFL jabber

The Cleveland Browns are apparently thinking of bringing back Marty Schottenheimer as head coach if they let Crennel go this season.

I'm a fan of all teams Ohio, and despite his inability to win the big game, I really like what M-Schott brings to a team. He at least makes the playoffs and gives you a glimmer of hope. Besides, the man is due!

They say he'd be the option if Cowher isn't available. I have to say this right now, even though he was the Steelers coach, Bill Cowher is probably one of my favorite NFL coaches ever. My list would look like this:

Bill Walsh
Bill Cowher
Jeff Fisher
M-Schott

I'd love to see Cowher coach for the "enemy", though I'd prefer him show up and help save my Bungles while they still have a great QB.

Marvin Lewis is a good guy, but he just hasn't fulfilled his end of the bargain in my eyes. He needs to go back to focusing on being a defensive genius, because strength in player development and discipline are needed in a head coach, and these things Lewis does not have.

Cowher would deck a player like Chad Ocho Stinko. He'd get him in line or get him out the door. Hard nosed, disciplined play is what I want to see.

Fingers crossed....at least I know the Browns should be doing something quality. Mike Brown just doesn't like to make the correct decisions with his team, so that's a longer shot. They are my beloved Bungles for a reason.....

That was quick

I just found out that they are casting for a Boondock Saints 2 movie!

I'm both scared and excited about the prospects of a second film. The first is one of my favorite movies of all time, but I don't see how it can be topped, let alone equaled.

The addition of Peter Fonda and Judd Nelson is quality news. A character with the title of "The Roman" just sounds awesome.

Fingers crossed for a high quality film that finds a way to keep some of the magic of the first one alive!

First post

Nothing of note to say, except that this feels a lot more cozy than my old LiveJournal area.

I was not a frequent poster there, though I try to keep up with what's going on in the world. I also occasionally get a creative burst (be it sane or insane) and let that flow. It all depends on my mood.

I used to always think these things to be funny, because really, how important are we that someone would read what we write, but I guess these things are supposed to be outlets for venting, being thought provoking, or just having regular old conversation.

I'm always looking for good reads, so feel free to suggest my way if you come across this blog. I prefer things out of reality, as I read to get away from that very thing.

Thanks!
